SIG trainers are teachers and professionals who enable other individuals and organizations to create and implement new solutions to social problems. The SIG trainers certified by the Social Business Creation (SBC) program have completed SBC rigorous training to gain critical knowledge in social innovation and necessary skills in using gamification and experiential methods to coach their students. They have demonstrated success in facilitating learning and encouraging their trainees to think creatively and critically about their target social issues and eventually come up with effective solutions.

Completion of the SBC training-of-trainers foundational course is required before applying for the SIG training.

Complete the SIG online course at https://cours.eduzone.ca/. You will receive the credentials in your email on 18 April.

23 April 2024, 8 am – 10 am EST (Montreal time)

Live session on teaching SIG with the course materials on EduZone and writing SIG cases.

30 April 2024, 8 am – 10 am EST (Montreal time)

Live session on evaluating SIG group performance.

2 May 2024

Deadline to submit the SIG evaluator qualifying test. The materials will be sent to you right after the session on 30 April.

15 and 17 May 2024

Evaluate three teams at your convenience during this period.  You will receive your assignments on 15 May if you pass the qualifying test.
