SIA trainers are teachers and professionals who enable other individuals and organizations to scale up social impacts with business mechanisms effectively. The SIA trainers certified by the Social Business Creation (SBC) program have completed SBC rigorous training to gain critical knowledge in sustainable development, drivers of changes, strategic thinking for mission-driven business growth, and necessary skills in using gamification and experiential methods to coach their students. They have demonstrated success in facilitating their trainees’ learning and development of a growth mindset, visionary thinking, systematic change mechanisms, entrepreneurial leadership skills, etc.

Completion of the SBC training-of-trainers foundational course is required before applying for the SIA training.

Complete the SIA online course at https://cours.eduzone.ca/. You will receive the credentials in your email on 18 July.

23 July 2024, 8 am – 10 am EST (Montreal time)

Live session on teaching SIA with the course materials on EduZone and writing SIA cases.

30 July 2024, 8 am – 10 am EST (Montreal time)

Live session on evaluating SIA group performance.

6 August 2024

Deadline to submit the SIA evaluator qualifying test. The materials will be sent to you right after the session on 30 July.

15 to 17 August 2024

Evaluate three teams at your convenience during this period. You will receive your assignments on 15 August if you pass the qualifying test.
