SBI trainers are teachers and professionals who enable other individuals and organizations to effectively execute their social business model and take it to the next level of growth. The SBI trainers certified by the Social Business Creation (SBC) program have completed SBC rigorous training to gain critical knowledge in business execution, management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and growth strategies, as well as necessary skills in using gamification and experiential methods to coach their students. They have demonstrated success in facilitating trainees’ learning and skill development such that their trainees can launch their businesses, develop agile strategies in finance, marketing, operations, etc., and overcome obstacles that often arise in the business scaling process.

Completion of the SBC training-of-trainers foundational course is required before applying for the SBI training.

18 June 2024, 8 am – 10 am EST (Montreal time)

Live session on teaching SBI with the course materials on EduZone and writing SBI cases.

25 June 2024, 8 am – 10 am EST (Montreal time)

Live session on evaluating SBI group performance.

2 July 2024

Deadline to submit the SBI evaluator qualifying test. The materials will be sent to you right after the session on 25 June.

15 and 17 July 2024

Evaluate three teams at your convenience during this period. You will receive your assignments on 15 July if you pass the qualifying test.
